Bertie B
am a native North Carolinian and I have lived in Wake County since graduating from NC State over 40 years ago. I now live in Cary with my husband Ben and our two cats, Max and Sadie. They rule our home! I have had cats nearly all of my life and simply cannot imagine a life without them. We also care for four backyard box turtles and several honey bee hives. I love all animals and wildlife, and I enjoy growing plants and flowers to attract songbirds, hummingbirds, butterflies, and other pollinators to our yard.
I enjoy the beach, especially shelling and searching for sharks’ teeth, but our kitties don’t travel so I know how hard it is to leave furry babies behind. It is so important to feel confident that your pets will be cared for when you are away! I will make every effort to learn what your kitty likes, and I will take great care of them and give them all the love, play, and attention they will allow.

Heather H
Heather H. is a native North Carolinian who has been living in Wake County for 13 years, and in Apex for the past 10 years. She is a practicing attorney during the day, which helps fund her cats’ lavish lifestyle! She is mom to five cats, and foster mom to three others. Heather has also been mom to dogs, birds, guinea pigs, and aunt to a couple of rowdy goats, a bunny, and one very sweet snake. Heather has experience with administering pet medications of all sorts, to include injections for feline infectious peritonitis (FIP). She can’t wait to become just as devoted to your fur babies as she is her own!

Karen H
Hello! My name is Karen Hoover and I have lived in Cary for 25 years with my husband, Dave. Originally from Rochester, NY, I moved to Chicago after graduating from college. After spending a few brutal winters there (even compared to Rochester!) we set our sights on our ideal place to live and fell in love with the Triangle area and everything North Carolina has to offer. We have 2 grown children and a sweet old dog, Mario. We also have a grand fur baby, a sweet and sassy cat named Nova! I’ve also had 2 other cats and 1 dog in my lifetime, and they have all been such an important part of our family through the years. It’s hard to imagine life without a furry friend!
We love to travel and when we do, we are so thankful to have reliable care for our pets. It brings us peace of mind and so I know how important that is. I look forward to meeting you and your beloved pets, and bringing that peace of mind to you!

Nicole C
My name is Nicole Collette and I am originally from Illinois, but moved to the Triangle area a couple of years ago because I love the area! I grew up with dogs and cats, and before joining Cool Cats I have done pet sitting for neighbors and friends. I currently have two cats of my own - Oliver and Bianca. I work full time as a Financial Analyst and am doing pet sitting because I’m an animal lover and can’t think of a better way to spend my free time. I look forward to getting to know and spending time with your fur babies!

Dana A
Hi, my name is Dana Anderson. I have been living in the Cary area since 1998 and have been working as a preschool teacher most of that time. I was raised around many different animals while growing up. But my favorite were always dogs and cats and my household has always had at least one or the other or both. I believe that they are very therapeutic and love to spend time with them. I live with my daughter, Brandi, cat, Dax, and a dog named Holly. In my spare time, besides spending time with my children and furry family, I love the beach, the mountains and enjoy getting lost in a really good book surrounded by my furry family! I cannot wait to meet you and your furry family members and provide you with the peace of mind you deserve!
