Sunglasses Cat

Starting off our list is the infamous Sunglasses Cat. Her real name is Bagel. She quickly became an internet sensation because of the cool looking glasses she always wears. These glasses are not just for show, but are also for her protection. Bagel was born without eyelids. The sunglasses she wears were specifically built to protect her eyes from the elements. Smoothie The Cat

Next up on our list is Smoothie The Cat, also known as The Queen Of Fluff. Smoothie is a British longhair cat. She has an absolutely beautiful coat and is easily one of the most photogenic cats you will ever see. Smoothie has emerald green eyes and a long fluffy tail that make her irresistibly cute. She is not only adorable, but also has a very sweet personality. Smoothie currently has 2.4 million followers on Instagram as of August 2023. Lil BUB

When it comes to cuteness, it doesn’t get much cuter than Lil BUB the cat. Lil BUB was most notably famous for sticking her little tongue out in all of her pictures. Although it is adorable, the actual reasoning for this is rather sad. Lil BUB suffered from feline dwarfism and her lower jaw was too small to retain her tongue. Sadly, Lil BUB passed away in 2019 due to complications with her feline dwarfism and bone infections. 

However, Lil BUB lived a great life and did a lot of good for the pet community. Her and her owner, Mike Bridavsky, traveled across the U.S. raising donations for local animal shelters. A large portion of Lil BUB’s merchandise sales were donated to animal rescue groups. She also appeared on TV shows like Good Morning America and was in the movie I’ll Be Next Door For Christmas. Grumpy Cat

It wouldn’t be a list of famous cats without mentioning Grumpy Cat! Grumpy Cat is easily one of the most popular cats on the internet. As the name implies, she naturally has a very grumpy looking face. Because of this, her picture has countlessly been used to create funny memes for the past decade. Similar to Lil BUB, Grumpy Cat also suffered from feline dwarfism. This caused her to have an underbite which gave her the “grumpy” looking appearance. 

Sadly, Grumpy Cat passed away in 2019 due to complications with her feline dwarfism. Although she is gone, her legacy lives on. The pet food brand, Chewy, named a tartar control treat after her and even featured her on the packaging. Grumpy Cat has 2.7 million followers on Instagram and a net worth of $99.5 million dollars. Nala Cat

Last, but certainly not least, is Nala Cat. Nala is the most followed cat on social media as of August 2023. She has 4.5 million followers on Instagram and has a net worth of $113 million dollars. She was named after Nala from the Disney movie The Lion King. Nala is gray and tan with black markings and is undeniably adorable. Her owner.
